Brew It Yourself SF Covid-19 Safety Protocols

Please note that these protocols may change without notice as requirements and guidance from federal, state, and local authorities change. We will all be required to follow whatever protocols are in place the day class occurs.

Updated January 18, 2023:

  • All students must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend class. Students will be required to agree to this during registration.

  • Masks are not required, but you are welcome to wear one if you like.

  • Your instructor, Jason, is fully vaccinated as of 4/21/21, and boosted as of 12/13/21 and 9/29/22.

  • Class size is limited to 9 students (down from 12), and 1 instructor.

  • Students must not attend class if they have any symptoms of Covid-19.  The instructor will, at any time before or after class, offer a credit to a future class if the student cannot attend for health reasons.

  • Class takes place in a converted garage space, with a large roll-up garage door.  Depending on the weather, the door will either be completely or partially open, to allow for adequate ventilation.

  • “Glassware” used for educational tasting of beers will be single-use, disposable and compostable.

  • Two sinks and plentiful hand sanitizer are available for hand washing and sanitizing.  Students are encouraged to wash their hands and sanitize frequently.

  • Students will work in groups of two to four people during class.  This may be people that you came with, or may be other students in the class.
